The mind of an overthinker

I trip over my thoughts
Nearly every single day
Its a fight of grand intentions
To resist cognitive dissonance
But try as I might
To find all the answers
My mind, point for point
Attacks my mind, I just expect it
Overthinking is my base line
My way of life
Hell bent on exploration
Of Dead ends and tough decisions
My thoughts often lost
In wobbles of space time
Upon streams of inner consciousness
I walk the path of distraction
Longing for contentment
Or satisfaction of a silent mind
But silence is not often kind
So my thoughts ramble
Looking for an answer
To a question.
