Inspired by my eagerness to travel to Lagos Asap.
All days,All weeks.
The feeling kept pulling at my sleeves; the tingling feeling to leave.
I felt I needed a movement. A change to make a change.
It kept coming like the sea.
The destination stuck in my mind like a magnet.I was determined and very sure of what lay ahead .
Everyone thought I was crazy. They felt I was enchanted by the unknown and continuously tried to dissuade me.
I was heady cos my plans were made.
They should have known me by now.
When the excitement of leaving came, then disappointments visited like a bomb.
Though unnerved and hurt, I was still determined but plans adjusted and intact.
The long awaited signal came... But if only I knew . I finally made a move. It was far from what I wanted, then I tried to settle in.
Giving things enough time to shape up, it got worse instead.
Who would understand these unless the mouth is opened?
Hurts and pains strove daily to rent a space.
With these, I knew that some people are never sensitive to others' feelings.
How could they not read the mood swings, the too quiet moments, the little outbursts and loneliness?
I blamed them not, I smiled perfectly.
Did I laugh honestly too? I never know.
