By the tower on a moonlit night
The flower blooms with no one in sight
It's beauty is far beyond compare
And those who seek it must be aware
It's soft beauty will enchant your soul
And remove all of your self-control
Don't be caught there when night turns to dawn
Or a bad fate you'll stumble upon
A curse which lasts all eternity
And ignites your heart so fervently
On this moonlit night don't take your walk
Past the wooden gate towards the loch
Or fate will extract from you its due
And you'll have to bid your soul adieu
The blood red moon matches the flower
Which blooms alone at the midnight hour
It's color will haunt your wildest dreams
And you'll never know what it all means
Don't be afraid if you go too far
Listen for the sound of the guitar
To find the tower which is so near
And see the flower you hold so dear
The tower looms large in the distance
You walk the path of no resistance
Because now you're caught under it's spell
No other thoughts are allowed to dwell
Except to find the flower you seek
To bathe in its beautiful mystique
By the tower on a moonlit night
