something I wrote for my youngest son when he was a baby. A kind of lullaby of sorts
Sweet Dreams

Good night my child, my little dove,
May your dreams fill your heart with love
Shut tight your eyes and ease your mind
I've laid your teddy by your side
So, take his paw, he'll lead the way
To another brand new day
But, should you wake in dead of nigh'
Don't be afraid or start to cry
For, in the blinking of your eye
Cradled in my arms, yourself, you'll find
And there you'll lay 'till heavy lids
Begin to fall by gentle kiss
So snuggle down and curl up tight
For this night will surely fly
