Two voices contend to express their opinions on a particular sea animal

You are a Sunfish
A great big Sunfish
You make me happy
When seas are grey-

Hey! Wait-
         What is this!?
Beak like teeth
Grey as slate
Rough exterior
No swim bladder
Covered in bugs other creatures get to eat
God's dinner plate
         Fine china of the birds

You are a Sunfish
A great big Sunfish
You bask in sunlight
That's what they say-

Which is a pretty dumb reason
To compare
The living equivalent of a
Concrete Slab
To the sun

It is, in fact
2,000 pounds of wasted water displacement

You are a Sunfish
A great big Sunfish
You are a wonder
Of seven seas-

Oh you're a Wonder Fish all right;
         A Wonder-how-you're-here Fish
                   A Wonder-why-you're-here fish
                             A Wonder-what-you-eat
                   How-you-swim
         Why-you-lay-so-many-eggs
Fish

You are a sunfish
A great big sunfish -

This thing sustains off the ocean equivalent of Caesar Salad-
Hold the croutons!
Small fish
shrimp
and sea weed-
Do you know how much this floating rock must have to consume to stay alive?!

To top it off-
It even manages
To be endangered
While laying
300 million eggs
Per dump

Mola Mola? More like
A molatta nothing.

You are a Sunfish
My favorite Sunfish
You make me happy
When seas are grey
I'll love you always
You goofy Fun-fish
Please don't take
My Sunfish
Away
