No surprise here. A no-surprise poem - enjoy!
The passion for truth is so helped by need.
But things turn so slowly, can stifle the greed.
We lay in the offing, seeking a break,
Ready and able to grab and to shake.

But life becomes jaded, contrived, and so lacking
When each individual requires our backing.
The whole of the parts can seem frozen and void.
Someone mistakenly x’d out, destroyed.

Replace all that pertinent focus for cures.
There’s no scant reliance, unable ensures.
Health amid journeys so beaming with promise
Has little to do with a pure doubting Thomas.

Make a decision to note every gain,
And use your discretion, embody the strain.
Then roll with the punches, believe that you’re eyeing.
A fox doesn’t care if you lose and keep trying!

A challenger’s faced with the same daunting task.
In other words, everyone’s willing to ask.
The question is how far you’re willing to go.
Someone’s envisioning stealing the show!
