With Mother's Day coming up, I thought this would be a sweet tribute to them.

A mother is our first home, she carries us and loves us before we enter the world.
In her arms we find comfort, we can spill our tears and she will hold us, all the while wishing she could take our pain onto herself so we no longer suffer.
A mother has so many jobs, she's our teacher, our nurse, our taxi driver.
When we are scared she is our safe place, the one person we can go to no matter what and know we are still so very loved.
She shows us kindness even when we don't show it to ourselves.
A mother's love for her child is so strong and undying, nothing and no one can break it.
Her heart beats for her children, always her babes even when we are old and grey.
As a mother my hope for my children is that they know that I will always be there for them, that no matter what they will always have a home, that I will forever love them, until I take my last breath.
