A story to be told.
Hahaha! It laughed around,
Saying, “who can stop me from my flight?”
In haughtiness it bragged around,
Crazily surfing the airy path.
It kept shouting across the mile,
Saying, “I’m the king of all the flies.”
And with the greatest pride in its mind,
It swung its wings arrogantly.

All other flies hovered in fear,
That they could be trapped in spiders’ web
But not this pompous funny peer,
That wiggled its wings in carelessness.
“Where’s the spider?” It cried aloud,
“What is its size compare to mine?”
And with the greatest pride in its mind,
It swung its wings arrogantly.

But in silence the spider lied,
Watching the haughty dragonfly.
In its web, it lied and smiled,
Saying to himself, “I’m not that nice.”
Gradually its web expand,
And in patient, it’s fortified.
Not like the puffy dragonfly.
That swung its wings arrogantly.

Time is too short to hide the fact,
The fly now blindly fell in trap.
It tried and tried but couldn’t get out,
So, he pleaded for his precious life.
Now the spider laughed aloud.
“Oh! It is too late to apologize.
You were bragging all around,
But here you are now, hemmed in my trap."
