The secret tales of whispering winds... A Pop-Poetry Entry
Wind Stories

Staring out my window, the clouds all scurry by.
I wish that they would take me. I wish that I could fly.
I'd pack a bag and sail away to interesting places.
Beyond the far horizon lay new wonders and new faces.
I'd hear songs sung in different dialects and speech.
The wonders of the world would all be in my reach.

I'd join a flock of birds in flight upon their skyward quest.
I'd dance between the sun's rays as it set in the west.
I'd drift among the flickering stars that would light the way
to a path of new discoveries and adventures every day.
From the morning mists of jungles to the wail of windswept hills,
I'd fly from place to place always seeking out new thrills.

I watch the wind sculpt the clouds and it's then I realize
that all the things I'm looking for lie right before my eyes.
I see wild animals of Africa, snow-capped mountain peaks,
I listen and the wind tells me its stories as it speaks.
I see strange faces come and go. I hear waves upon a beach.
The wind stirs my imagination. It is all within my reach.
