My background
f. h. Armstrong

Not much to say about myself except the love I have for my family. Your children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends; the people around you is what makes life worth living.
I am a born and raised Detroiter. Except for my stint in the army and Vietnam, I have lived here all my life. Detroit Michigan is my home; I hate to see the way it is bashed in the media. There is a lot to love here. I have seen the trend in the media when something bad happens anywhere within 50 miles of the city, the news media says it happened in Detroit. But if anything good happens, then they can get the city named correctly (Redford, Dearborn, and ECT). Well enough of that.
I got a job with GM and worked there for 31.5 years. Early in my career with GM I tried to pursue a career in photography as well. It was not long before I realized that I could not chase both rabbits at the same time. I chose to stay with GM; I did not believe that I could match GM's earnings and stability with my camera. This is how my creative drive turned to writing. I could write as a hobby even during down times on the job. I have read The Lord of the Rings every year since childhood, so this was the Genre that I turned to. When Dungeons and Dragons hit the market I created a background world to play the game in. That background world was Remworld. Though I only played D&D for a few years my writings for Remworld have been with me ever since.
