I don't like poems. They are boring.I love songs, but they don't love me back.
Whenever I end up writing a poem,
It's actually me trying to write a song.
But it always ends up as poetry
and the words just don't get along.

Every time I start a verse,
I'll be hoping it becomes the chorus,
But then it becomes too long,
And viola, another verse!

My bridges are eight liners
And my songs got no chorus,
Just verses here and verses there,
With a rhyme scheme too consistent.

Im I love with music
But the love is one sided,
I almost hate poetry
But that's all I end up writing.

Just for once, can my brain coordinate?
And stop giving me mere verses?
I really just got so much to say,
And my hand cant stop at lines under 8.

Frankly I don't play the instruments too well,
When I write I don't got no tune in my head.
Could that be the reason why
Poems are all that I can write?

Just for once, my stupid head,
Can you not give me a poem?
Can you give me a song
Whose tune even I'm unaware of?

I can see that you are mockingly saying
A big fat no!
Cause hey, look,
I wrote a bloody poem again!
