Poem about choosing a luxury for a contest
My Luxury

So tell me what's the luxury
That I crave the most

Could it be a jelly roll
Or some warm French toast

Would I like a seashore trip
Or better a sea cruise

Wait, I know, much-needed sleep
I want a nice long snooze

Or maybe a posh shopping trip
I need some fine new clothes

No, let's choose a real green thumb
Then I can plant a rose

The luxury of exercise
might just improve my health

If I came up with gold and jewels
My luxury would be wealth

Perhaps the thing that I should wish
The place my wants should roam

Is luxury that I most need
More time to write more poems
