Too much but never enough...
Howling dust, cocoons of rust,
sweet nepenthe in crimson stripes
at the edge of death and life.

A cerise stream denied us time
by nine decrees on granite tides,
authored by a sentient blight.

SAWDUST MEN CUT HOLES IN THE NIGHT!
SPIDERS SWARM THE DUTCHMAN'S ANTHILL!
CREAKING HULLS SAIL ON WAVES OF FIRE!
The white void creeping nearer...

COVER THE SKY IN CURTAINS OF CRIES!
COVER THE SKY IN DOGS' HEADS, IN SCARS,
IN COMETS BLEEDING QUINTESSENCE AND TAR!
Boiling flesh creeping nearer...

Unseen clarity... Twisted delight...
COVER THE SKY! COVER THE SKY!
...so we may not see its light...

Unspoken fates... An endless fight...
COVER THE SKY! COVER THE SKY!
...so we may not see the light.
