a truth a retelling a shift in perspective
There once was a boy whom at first glance seemed absolutely average, but when you looked closer you could see much more.
When you looked closer you could see he'd often tear himself apart.
When you looked closer you could see his facade.
If you payed him no mind you'd never notice his coming or leaving.
If you payed him no mind he was next to nothing.

If you got close he'd bloom like a flower.
If you tried you'd see the truth.
If you got close he'd try to entertain you.
If you got close he'd be there to help.

If you leave him be forever you'll get nothing in return, but if you come close and let him grow you will get his loyalty and devotion.

except it never happens
no one ever tries
they all don't care
they're all to busy
and so the boy suffers
and suffers and suffers
for what might as well be all eternity
all because the world was to busy to notice him
all because he didn't know how to get help.
