Poem for Contest
Here Comes the Sun

Here comes the sun
That old song went
I bet this isn't
What they meant

When suns explode
They move quite fast
We'll have eight minutes
Till the last

Not much time
Is what we've got
Before it's getting
Hot hot hot

It flies quite near
The speed of light
Our chances to
escape are slight

But we could find
trick or two
If we think
Like Dr. Who

If we have
A time machine
We'll go back
Where Earth's still green

No time machine
We're not done yet
Tachyons
Are our best bet

They're faster than
The speed of light
With tachyons
We'll be alright

No tachyons
No time machine
The power of prayer
Just might be seen

Let's face it if
The sun blows up
Our goose is cooked
The jig is up
