A poem about the difficulty of waking up and that first sip of coffee.
Woven, nice, quaint noises,
Sensing shifting ‘round.
Streets are rumbling madness,
Flailing may astound.

Hellish chaos daily,
Everyone’s trait, need.
Actions filled with kindness,
Excellence, indeed.

Aim to stay for heartache,
Age that gruesome pride.
Major burdens welcome.
Doggie’s by your side.

Most imply they’re charming,
Handle simple care.
Truth, we’ll buy a palace,
Room to give, not there.

Fearing deadly weapons,
Leave the sleep behind.
Coffee sends its welcome;
Face the grueling grind.
