Sometimes you know it, sometimes you don't
Who brought me here?
You just shrugged

Why am I the way I am?
You just shrugged

Who am I gearing up to be?
You just shrugged

Will our destinies intertwine?
You just shrugged

Where will they take us?
You just shrugged

When will it all connect?
You just shrugged

I have so many questions
For the know-it-all who knows it all
But some things are out of your depth
So your answer is to just shrug

How do I cope with this?
Who can I go to for these answers?
When will either of us know?
I just shrugged

And so we just shrugged
The questions of infinity on our shoulders
The answers thereof even further away
