Our Halloween decoration comes to life.
When Harry comes out Halloween
we hang him on the door.
He is a ghost, orange fabric he,
bought at the Dollar Store.

His constant grin delights us all,
we greet him coming back.
Without old Harry looking out
there’d be a ghost-like lack.

But then it happened that one night
our Harry came to life.
He howled like demons evermore
which cut just like a knife.

From breezeway end to other end,
orange Harry zipped with glee.
His plump round face with beady eyes
was very hard to see.

Like evanescent stream he seemed
to vanish ‘fore our eyes.
But then old Harry came right back
to utter ghostly cries.

Within the night black cats roam free—
the witches carry on.
Our decoration Harry ghost
regains his stead at dawn.
