It’s that time of year for Little Snow.
Little Snow comes out
at the end of October.
He walks in the rain
‘cause he like to feel
water on his feet.

He don’t know no better
than to walk in sunshine
in April—as he then
disappears until fall.

Little Snow eats
crused nuts.  He
makes them himself;
foraging in forest.
Sassafras, pine,
cone, buckeye…
he presses hard
with his heel.

(The local yoghurt barn
  took interest in Snow’s
  concoction, yet Snow
  declined to share the
  rights.  Guess you
  could say the barn
  failed miserably.)

Keep an eye out
for Little Snow.
After Halloween,
you’ll no doubt
see him.
