One who looks at the stars. Wonders about origins
crisp cold night
black is the sky
distant lights shine in darkness
im always gazing up
watching the movements
watch them march across the sky
in cycles and circles
they create patterns
patterns give meaning
meaning gives purpose

i hope they're
staring back down at me
i hope they can see
what i see
seems very insignificant
this thing that I am

what will become of us
without a purpose?

lights from a universal instruction
transmit to my current location
hope my internal decoders still function
translate light into words i can fathom

a message soon becomes clear:

hold tight to the night stargazer
you are love that is enduring and forever
everything else is an illusion
this is a temporary state
this is a temporary place
a necessary part of the journey you must take
