After you have been in a production, all the feelings that remain.
I’m sitting backstage with my cast
Hoping and longing that this can last
But I know it cannot be true
After this there is nothing else I will be able to do

I’ve shared experiences with people
I don’t want to leave
Past the giant steeple
Oh how I shall grieve

The magical moment is over
I feel as though I have had no closer
“Break a leg!” They said
I have to go home instead

But it was worth it
The magical moment when your backstage
Dancing to the music and feeling invincible
My bond with the stage is unbreakable
