Struggling through depression, fighting demons,
I get like this sometimes,
Where my mind leaves my body,
And I’m watching my every move, like a really awful movie

I can’t explain the pain,
I can’t explain the hurt,
I can’t explain the tears that are soaking through your shirt.

The color dims,
It feels like no matter what I do, the darkness always wins.

I hate that this happens,
I wish it was a one-time thing,
The sad tragic truth is it will happen again.

I’ll be okay soon,
So, for now bear with me,
I’m fighting through my demons, until I’m finally free
