Poem About Ladies Of The Night

LATE NIGHT RENDEVENU


To all the women of the night!

Ain't nuttin' but the steak,

to a brother's appetite.

Catchin' him walkin' by,

trying to take bite!

Knowing all to well,

the loneliness of the night!

Knockin' on the do',

and its well after midnight.

Reluctantly, I answer cause,

I ain't feeling the fight!

Eyeing him lookin' sayin',

what a hell of a sight!

And my mind rehearses,

"oh what a night"!

So I laugh and say,

Ain't nuttin but the steak,

to a brother's appetite!

. . . come on in!
