Slight description of daily farming.
Many ask what does one do during a lock down? Well, here on our farm, not much has changed. We get up, eat breakfast, tend to the animals, work on equipment, start seedlings , do yard work. Sometimes we also do wood processing. Just to change it up a bit.
The only real thing that has changed, is the frequency in which we go to the store I have not been in two weeks, going to need to go get some grain and shavings for my babies.
The only cows that get grain is the cow we are milking, and the calves that the mother didn't want. Of course our bunnies too get grain. The rest of the farm animals get hay. We raise grass fed angus.
