When Rouge tries out a new gadget from Tails, she ends up undergoing a very "Big" change.
“And you’re sure that this will work?”

“Yeah! With the supplies and resources, I’ve gathered, you’ll be unnoticed by everyone in no time!”

In a small workshop on Mobius, Rouge the Bat; famous treasure hunter and Agent of G.U.N, smiled at the confidence in Tails’ voice. In recent years, Rouge had been having several close calls in her assignments. Sure, as a G.U.N’s top spy, she could break in and out of any target she was assigned to, but more often than not, something would occur that would cause her to be spotted by her targets. Well, all that was going to change. Despite their differences, the bat had close ties with the young inventor Miles Prower, otherwise known as Tails by all. Through days of work, the young fox was busy working on a new invention that, if successful, would aid Rouge in her missions, and help make her unnoticeable to the untrained eye. Today, that device was finally reaching its completion.

“Check it out!” The young fox shouted as he held out a shiny, high tech watch from his desk. Rouge simply raised an eyebrow in confusion as she looked down at the advanced little trinket.

“Uh… A watch? That’s it?” she asked.

“It’s more than just a simple watch.” Tails began “Say hello to the “Holo-Morph 800”! The perfect tool for espionage and sleuthing.” Rouge crossed her arms as she listened to the young genius begin his talk.

“Okay small fry, how does it work?”

“Pretty simple actually.” Holding it up to Rouge, he directed her down to the small screen in the center, as well as the small knob on the side. “Once you put it on, you simply turn this knob to choose your desired disguise. Object, Person, Creature, it doesn’t matter. If the Holo-Morph can project it, then it’s possible.”

“Ooooo. I’m liking the sound of this.” Rouge said with a smirk.

“Then, once you’ve made your decision, just push the knob in like a button, and then in no time at all, a lifelike hologram of your chosen form will surround your body, allowing you to move around completely undetected!” With Tails’ explanation done, Rouge’s eyes lit up in pure joy. Just the thought of sneaking into a high security compound, by just walking through the front door as a guard, was enough to sell her on the device alone. Why, she could even take a few gemstones with a gadget like this…

“Well then, It’s perfect!” she exclaimed. “Thank you Tails. I appreciate your work. But now that that’s passed, I should be taking it with me now.” Rouge reached over to collect her new gadget, however much to her annoyance, Tails quickly pulled it away.
“Hold on there! I’m gonna give it to you for sure, but I still need more time to finish it.”

“More ti… What do you mean? It looks finished to me!” The Bat shouted in protest.

“Yeah it does but… well the way this device can project holograms is because it runs on Phantom Ruby energy. If left alone, it could potentially cause some unpredictable and unusual side effects on the user. I’m almost done, but I need to install a stabilization chip into it to keep the energy from overloading the device.” Rouge just huffed annoyed that she had to wait even longer for what seemed to be a simple project to be finished.

“Look, I urgently need this thing in my possession NOW!” she demanded “I can’t risk being caught again during my job! So, give it to me!”
“Let me install the chip first, and THEN I’ll give it to you!” shouted Tails “Besides, it won’t take that long! I promise!” The two glared at each other; looks of frustration and annoyance bouncing back and forward until eventually, Rouge let out a small sigh of defeat.
“Fine… Whatever. But make it quick.”

Tails simply rolled his eyes as he placed the Holo-Morph back on the bench. “I will. Just keep your pants on, while I go find the chip.” With no hesitation, the young fox flew into the depth of his workshop, leaving the curious jewel thief alone with her new tool of trade.

“… “Unusual Side Effects” my butt.” She said under her breath. “Tails is just saying that to make me reconsider. He knows how I can be so he’s just trying to scare me out of it.” She placed her sights back on the Holo-Morph, a sly grin stretching across her face as she quickly reached for it and swiped it off the desk. “Heh heh, I may not be able to use it… but the little guy didn’t say anything about “testing it” before it was done.”

With a sense of cleverness in her eyes, Rouge gazed down at the selection menu, and turned the knob until a group labeled “People and Mobians” was highlighted. “If I’m going to disguise myself as my target’s associates, then it only makes sense to try this with a hologram of another Mobian.” Searching through the list, she found the names of several bystanders inside, as well as the names of a few familiar faces she knew too well. “Well, I gotta hand it to you Tails, you sure work wonders.” Finding a hologram was easy, but choosing one was the tricky part for the super spy. At least, until she settled on a choice that made her giggle. Spying the name of her friend and partner, Shadow the Hedgehog, in the catalog, Rouge quickly pictured everything in her head. The idea of her parading around as Shadow, shopping for clothes, applying makeup, and doing all other kinds of womanly things with his appearance was a funny one that she couldn’t resist. “Oh well. If the ol’ grump says something, I’ll just tell him what’s going on.”

With Shadow’s name highlighted, and her finger on the knob, Rouge shut her eyes, smiling as she soon pushed the knob in. The device hummed, it beeped rapidly, it charged up its power source, and as soon as Rouge opened up her eyes, she saw…

“… N-Nothing?”

It was hard to believe but despite following Tails’ directions carefully, Rouge was still herself. She didn’t look or even sound like Shadow at all. She was still herself from head to toe.

“Hmm… okay… maybe I could try someone else.” She said, cycling down the list. “Shadow is too strong of a guy anyways, so maybe this watch couldn’t process it.” Stopping at another name, Rouge placed her finger on the top of the knob once more. “Okay, how about Sonic? He should be a given to work.” Pushing the knob in, the entire process began anew, this time Rouge kept her eyes open to watch for herself. Like before, the Holo-Morph hummed and charged… but as it reached the peak of its charge… nothing. No red shoes, or spikey blue hair. Rouge was still Rouge.

“Grr… Fine.” She said growing more annoyed with each selection she passed. “How about Amy? She’s as basic a girl as you can get!”
Like before, Rouge chose… then pushed… but the watch projected nothing.

“Cream?!”

Another selection. Another Push… and nothing.

“Cheese?!?! He’s a darn chao, that can’t be hard to project!”

Another Selection. Another Push… and no chao.

“UGH!!! Work dang it!” Rouge was at her absolute peak of frustration. Each name she picked, and each push she made continued to produce no results for her. However, as she continued to force the Holo-Morph to work, something unusual began to happen. With each consecutive pick, the small device continued to build up miniscule amounts of Phantom Ruby energy. It continued to grow and grow and grow thanks to the frustration of the bat trying to work it… and eventually it reached its limit…

“Stupid… watch!” Rouge said, exhausted by her constant pushing and turning. “Please… just…work!” Not even paying attention to the name highlighted, Rouge gave the knob one last, but hard push, causing the energy in the small device to finally go over the limit. Unlike before, the Holo-Morph’s hum grew louder and louder; a faint magenta glow enveloping it and catching Rouge’s attention.
“H-Huh?” She blinked as the watched the aura surround the little watch shaped device on her wrist. “Did… Did I get it to work?” Just before she could follow-up her own question, the glow suddenly began to spread across the bat’s body; quickly crawling up her arms, down her body, to her legs, up and around her head and ears, and so on and so forth. Eventually the aura had completely covered up most of her body, leaving the bat confused but curious as to what was going to happen. “O-Okay. I guess this is how the projection process works. No worries. This could feel weird but at least I’m getting my hologram of… wait, who DID I pick for this-YEEP!”

Just as Rouge was about to look, the aura of Phantom Ruby energy quickly shrank and diminished in size; seemingly sinking into her skin and fur until it was completely gone. After such an intense release of energy, the Holo-Morph soon shut down thanks to its “power save protocol: leaving Rouge confused and befuddled about what had just happened… especially since once again, she still looked like herself, and not like her chosen hologram.

“Seriously?” She said with a defeated sigh in her voice. “All that flash and no substance from it? I thought for sure this stupid thing would work.” As she gazed at the blank screen, she gulped nervously, immediately thinking about what Tails would say upon seeing it shut down. “W-Well… erm not a problem. I can just tell him that I turned it off for protection. Least he won’t know what happened if I said that. I just need to remove this thing from my wrist, leave it on the workbench and everything will be ooooo…k-kay?”

Just as she was about to remove the device, a faint glow surrounded her arm. Pulling it back, Rouge examined every inch of her limb but found no oddities whatsoever. “Huh… That was… strange… I swear I just saw my arm glowEEEK!” The bat stumbled backwards as yet another glow surrounded her; this time only covering her torso and excluding her limbs and head. Rouge looked down in shock and confusion as a bizarre tingling sensation soon spread all across her torso. “What the heck is happening?” She asked herself, trying to make sense of the situation. Her answer wasn’t too far behind though. As the glow grew fainter, Rouge’s body slowly began to expand outward; her trim, curved and feminine figure ballooning out into a large and more spherical shape that stretched out her spy suit wider and wider with each inch gained.

“M-My body?! I’m… getting fat?!” She exclaimed as her body continued to swell. Her arms and legs comedically poking out from underneath and from her sides, making her look like a large ball with limbs and a head. “Why… Why is this happening to… wait a second…” As she grew, Rouge quickly remembered Tails’ explanation. Specifically, about what the Holo-Morph’s function was. “… Oh… Oh ho ho! That’s what this is huh???” She said, beaming with a smirk. “I’m not really getting fat! This is just some holographic disguise being produced by the watch!” She chuckled, feeling confident in her deduction, as she gave her new round frame a few playful drums. “Pity that I didn’t get to see who I picked before the watch shut off. But at least I was able to prove that fox wrong. I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he sees me in my new disguise~”

As the glow finally dissipated, Rouge’s body was now left completely rounded out into a perfect spherical shape. Before she had the appearance of an average sized mobian, but thanks to the device’s hologram, she now bore an appearance that made her look like she weighed a whopping 280 pounds. “Goodness!” she exclaimed as she jokingly posed in a nearby mirror. “I have to hand it to Tails; this is one convincing hologram. I mean I know it’s all an illusion, but it feels so… real. Almost like I actually am… fat?” Rouge’s playful posing was soon put on pause as the same glow from before, now covered around her arms. And while she couldn’t see it, her legs would also be surrounded by the same magenta glow.

“Huh. Looks like my arms and possibly legs are next.” She said as she shuffled a few feet back to get a good look at herself in the mirror. Holding up her hand, she chuckled as she felt the tingling from before travelling up to her fingertips; causing her hand and arm to stretch and expand thicker and wider. Gazing over to her other arm, it too was doing to same; fattening up to better match with her new hefty shape. “I mean, it only makes sense.” She said. “Can’t be going around with a ball bod and twiggy limbs, right?” With a small giggle, she held out her hands and watched as they grew fatter and larger in size. “Wow, I don’t know who I’m being disguised as… but they sure are huge!”

As with her arms, Rouge’s legs also began to thicken out; becoming just fat and just as large as her arms. She looked back at the mirror and chuckled to herself as she laid one of her large hands on her round stomach. “And there go my legs. Going full fatty for this one.” She said with a chuckle. “This is great! With unlimited ways to change my appearance, I won’t even need to worry about being caught again! Just wait till the others back at the base hear about…a-abou…hnngh… what the...? Ugh!” Suddenly, as her legs continued to widen out, Rouge began to feel a peculiar feeling in her feet. “What… the heck is going on down there? Why do my boots…suddenly feel so…t-tight?!”

This feeling was quite true, for as Rouge’s legs grew fatter, so did her feet. While her boots didn’t burst into pieces, they stretched further out to try and fit them inside; the sounds of their seams straining and struggling to keep together being heard, much to the bat’s confusion. She thought to herself: “If this was really a hologram… if this was a mere illusion being projected over her body, then her boots would’ve been made bigger as well, right? Her gloves did… but why did her boots not change size? Why did only her feet get bigger? And why was she able to… feel them strain on her-?” “GAH!”

Her thoughts came to an abrupt halt, as Rouge suddenly felt something moving and pushing at her suit. She quickly turned her head and looked down at her back. While her wings were fine, it was what was underneath them that made her go wide eyed in shock. Surrounded by the same glow as before, a large lump had begun growing in the part of her suit that showed off her tail. Seeing it squirm and move around just frightened her the more she looked at it. “What the heck is that thing?!” She shouted, wagging her tail in pure horror. However, it wasn’t her tail that was wagging, but rather the lump in her suit. Whether Rouge could believe it or not, that lump was in fact her once petite little tail. “No way… that can’t be… I mean… it’s just all part of the disguiiiEEEE!” Letting out a small shriek, the large lump of tail grew bigger… and bigger until finally the growth ceased, before being followed by a loud sound from behind.

“RIIIIIIIP!!!”

“Huh…hey… I feel… a lot better now actually.” Rouge let out a soft sigh as she looked back at the damage done. Jutting out from a large hole in the back of her suit, was a big, long and fluffy snake of fur that hung down from her waist. And while the bat was relieved that her new tail could breath, she was still confused by something that she was quick to notice. Not only did this new tail appear to be feline in appearance, but rather than her tail being the same color of her fur, it was instead covered top to bottom in a bright shade of striped purple and violet fur. “That’s new…” she said, trying to remain calm “… and yet… why does that look familiar?”

Turning her head back around, Rouge’s eyes quickly darted back down to the mirror… which now that she thought of it, seemed to be a bit lower now that looked at it. “Odd… I swear that mirror was placed much higher.” She said, now sounding a bit worried. “Am… Am I growing?

That can’t be it, I mean this is just a disguise! I’m not really getting bigger!” As she looked down to get a better look at her body, she instead saw something that nearly made her faint. Her chest. Her “girls” were slowly deflating, and receding into her chest, slowly rendering it smooth and flat. “N-NO! M-My girls are… this can’t be happening!” As she rubbed and patted her chest in disbelief, her breast plate, which currently laid on her flat chest, suddenly began to rise once more. Only it wasn’t Rouge’s “girls” coming back to her. In their place, was a chest full of bright, fluffy, white fur that slowly began to grow and fill out the heart shaped chest piece as padding.

Rouge blinked, befuddled at the sight of the fur growing out. “Okay… I-I don’t think I want to see the rest of this disguise.” She said as she lifted her arm back up. “H-How do I turn this back on?!” As the bat clumsily fat fingered the device, she could feel more strands of fur growing out of her arms, and chest… and that was what weirded Rouge out the most. Maybe the boots were just a coincidence. But this, added to her large feline tail was enough to help her realize what was really going on. She could feel her tail moving, she could feel patches of more purple fur covering her arms and chest, she felt her feet strain in her boots. Rouge gulped as she watched and felt the bright purple fur travel up to her shoulders. “…Th-This… This isn’t a disguise… I-It’s… It’s all real?! That can’t be possible!!!” She frantically pulled and tugged at the strip of dark violet fur on her arm, hoping it was just an illusion, but much to her surprise, she felt the small instance of pain from pulling on her own fur.

Gazing back at the mirror, Rouge couldn’t muster up a playful joke or movement like she did before. While her head remained untouched, and her outfit remained intact, the entire rest of body was nothing like it was before. A round, fat, spherical body with arms and legs fat enough to match. A long feline tail hanging out from her waist. And all of it was coated in patches of purple and violet fur, with a big fluffy bush of bright white fur on her belly to hold up her breast plate after the loss of her “girls”. Rouge rubbed a hand across her belly, still in pure shock over the whole ordeal. Her body looked so mismatched with her head on it… but still, like with her tail, something about it felt familiar… however she did not want to find out why.

“Okay, I’ve had enough!” she shouted, still trying to start up the Holo-Morph to the best of her abilities. “Please, I don’t think I want to see anymoooo…” Her eyes went wide as she looked at the mirror. “No… NO! Stop that!” Just like her body before, the aura of Ruby energy was now covering not only Rouge’s wings, but her head as well. “Seriously, I don’t want to see the rest of this!” She begged “Where is that dumb-?!” Just then, Rouge spotted a small red button on the side of the Holo-Morph. The Small text above it reading “Startup” . “Perfect! That’s just what I needed to seeEEEE!” She stumbled forward as she felt a strange force pushing at her back. Turning her head around to see only made Rouge even more desperate to stop whatever was happening to her. Her large, beautiful wings flapped their last flaps as they rapidly shrunk in size; becoming smaller and smaller until they vanished into the sea of purple fur, and “poofed” out of existence. “Not my wings too!” It was now or never at this point. Without any hesitation, Rouge quickly jammed her finger down on the Startup button, expecting to hear the familiar hum of the Holo-Morph.

But nothing came…

“H-Huh? Come on turn on!”

Rouge continuously pushed and pushed on the button, but with each attempt the Holo-Morph refused to turn on. And to the bat…feline’s shock, it wasn’t due to the power source being low, but rather because with each attempt, she had been pushing multiple buttons on the device thanks to her new large hands.

“M-My fingers are too fat for the dang buttons?!” She shouted as the purple fur reached her neck. “Oh, come on that’s so not fair~!” Rouge blinked a bit before clearing her throat in surprise at what she had just heard. “What in the world? Okay, now I’ve gotta be hearing things.” She said trying to calm herself. “For a second, I almost thought I heard a completely different voice coming out of my mouth! H-Huh?!” Rouge gasped as she covered her mouth. The voice that had left her mouth wasn’t the feminine, sensual voice of a famous spy and treasure hunter. No, this voice was far too goofy, masculine, and straight up oaf-ish in tone… and yet it was coming out of her mouth, much to her displeasure. “My voice! Oh my gosh, I sound like a total doofus!” She exclaimed as she held the still powered down Holo-Morph to her face. “Hey! Turn back on!” She said as she continued to push the Startup button. “Please! Gimmie back my voice Mr. Watch! I don’t wanna sound like this~!” Just as she was about to continue, a sudden though occurred in the girl’s head. “Wait… “Mr. Watch”? Why’d I call it that? I know what this thingy is!” Rouge exclaimed, completely oblivious to the fact that she had called it a “thingy”.

As she stared at the blank screen, Rouge gulped as she saw her face reflected off the screen; giving her a good view of her already white fur slowly changing into the same shade of purple that was on the rest of her body. “Oh, what am I gonna do? I can’t turn this thingy… erm “Holo…Morphy…thingy” on. And the worst part? Tails is going to be so mad at me for touching his…” And then it clicked. Tails! Sure, he was going to yell her out for going against his orders, but at this point, she was willing to take the lecture than continue on with her freaky transformation. “That’s it! Tails has small enough fingers! I’ll just find him and have him turn this watch thingy back on!” With no hesitation, Rouge moved quickly down the room… well, quick was a sad understatement. Because of Rouge’s big size, the fastest movement she was going was basically the equivalent of an awkward looking waddle.

Rouge moved down the aisles of stored away gadgets and projects, hoping to at least see Tails’ silhouette nearby so she could shout for him. “He has to be here somewhere.” She said. “Maybe he’s just hiding somewhere, and I have to find him. Like a game of Hide and Seek~! Why would he be playing all by him… Ugh! F-Focus Rouge! No time for fun games with friends~.” She said to herself as she failed to notice or feel her short white hair, shrinking and receding into her skull.

After a few mere seconds of searching Rouge stopped to catch her breath; the purple color of her fur had fully covered every corner of her head, except for her skin toned muzzle. Not that she could notice anyways, as she was too exhausted from “running” all over the place. “Ugh… I really hate running with this big fat body… When I fix my body, I’m gonna take a break… maybe relax with a nice fishing trip. That usually calms my nerves. Maybe I’ll even catch a really big fishy this time and…” Upon hearing her own words, Rouge quickly shook her head, and snapped back to reality. "Nuh-Uh-Uh! You can’t relax now… Focus on Tails… then you can fish! I-I mean...report back to HQ…and then fi…f-fuh…oooogh goodness. My face feels funny…”

Rouge quickly placed her hands to her cheeks to give them a quick feel. Much like her body, her cheeks were quickly plumping up; becoming fat enough to match her the rest of her body. As if that wasn’t enough, she also began to feel patches of white fur grow and sprout around her muzzle as she continued to rub her now fluffy cheeks. They squished and moved around with each rub, and while Rouge would’ve normally have been weirded out by the sudden weight gain in her face, something about rubbing her cheeks like that kind of felt… nice. So much so that she even let out a dopey sounding giggle in the process. “Heh heh heh, gosh. My cheeks are so soft and fluffy and… nngh… Stop getting distracted Big! I mean, Rouge.” Rouge rubbed her forehead, feeling a bit uneasy about her sudden slip up with her name as she continued down the aisles.

Meanwhile, the snowy white fur on her muzzle finally covered up the feline’s bright tan muzzle; the lipstick on her lips mysteriously vanishing in the process. Rouge completely ignored it as she continued moving. She couldn’t let anything distract her, not even the fact that her own muzzles as starting to stretch outward a bit. Becoming a longer and more feline in looks. Almost like a cat even.
Rouge may have been able to ignore her physical changes for the sake of her search, but she couldn’t deny that she was starting to feel “off”. It was like with each step she took, it became much harder for her to think straight. Constantly getting distracted, thinking about pointless stuff like fishing, not being able to remember or name things correctly, including her own name. Perhaps when she said that “her head felt funny”, she unintentionally meant it in more ways than one.

Once again getting tired out from all her moving, Rouge stopped to take a breather, finally taking time to notice how much her face was changing. On top of feeling her newly elongated feline muzzle, her large pointy ears began to droop down lower to her head. It felt like some unknown force was pulling on them, as they continued to stretch longer and longer. Each ear almost twice as big as they were before. Rouge just groaned as she sheepishly wiggled her newly enlarged ears with a sigh. ”Big Belly. Big Ears. Big Hands. Big…Everything! Why am I getting so big~?” She asked. “I really hope Tails can fix me. I don’t think I can live like a big… fat… c-cat?”

Rouge looked around the aisles, noticing some eerily familiar things about the stuff sitting on them. They looked so familiar… too familiar actually. Did Tails build duplicates of some of his gadgets? Come to think of it, she did see a few of them multiple times in a row… That’s when the unfortunate realization hit her. The absolute dumbest thing that Rouge had failed to notice in her haste… “Have I been going around in circles this whole time?!” She wanted to shout. She wanted to knock something over, she wanted to curse herself out. And yet, all she could muster up was a huge sigh. “Oh darn… I should’ve known something was strange. Gee… Finding Tails in this place is surprisingly hard.” She said, completely unaware that the last of her makeup, her signature blue eyeshadow, was fading away into an ocean of purple fur.

“Maybe I should’ve asked someone to help me find him…” She said. All while two round patches of dark violet fur surrounded her eyes. “I’m so… so slow like this. Perhaps someone even faster or… or smarter could find him.” The thought of finding such help, was admittedly helping Rouge calm herself down. While she did, her large eyelashes rapidly shrunk; becoming smaller and less feminine in looks. “Yeah! Someone else can help me find Tails~ Like uh… Sonic… or maybe even Shadow~! Heh heh… Oh! Or maybe Froggy! He always did have a knack for finding stuff! Heh heh…” With one last deep breath, Rouge’s transformation finally came to an end, but not in the way she had envisioned. As she let out the last of her worries, the bat-turned-cat’s eyes shrank smaller in size. His pupils going completely black and beady, while his sclera changed from pure white to pale yellow. With a calm yet big sigh, “Rouge the Bat” rubbed his head, as the last remnants of his mind slipped away, leaving him with only one thing on his mind.

“sigh… I sure miss Froggy…”

*****************************************************
“Nope… Map Charting Protocol, nuh uh. Weather Detection Software… no way. Come on, where did I put that… Ah ha! Found it!” Tails smiled as he soon found the Stabilization Chip in a small storage box on the shelf. “Only took a few minutes, but at least I found it!” Running out of the storage room, Tails quickly pocketed the box and made his way back to the work bench. “Aright Rouge! Small delay but once this chip is in, you’ll be able to disguise yourself in no ti-OOF!”

The young fox’s voice was silenced as he soon bumped into something, or rather someone that was standing in his way. The rebound from his soft belly sending the genius to the ground. “Ouch… Hey what’s the big… idea?” Tails looked up at the figure, raising an eyebrow in confusion due to what he was seeing. Standing before him was his longtime friend, Big The Cat… although for reasons that he couldn’t figure out, Big was dressed up in a bigger, albeit stretched out set of Rouge’s clothing. But Big didn’t mind that. In fact, upon seeing Tails, a big, and friendly looking smile stretched across his face.

“Huh huh! Hello Tails! Thank goodness you’re here. I’ve been looking all over for you!” He smiled, as he helped the boy back onto his feet. “Uh… Yeah, it’s really nice to see you too Big…” Tails kept looking at the outfit stretched over his large pal’s body. He had to know why… he just had to. “So erm… any reason as to why you’re wearing Rouge’s outfit?” Big just looked down at the clothes, placing a hand to his belly as he did. “Uh… I don’t really remember why. But they sure are comfy~ Huh huh huh!” “Yeah I’m pretty sure it is Big. Anyways, I’m kind of busy right now so if you don’t mind, I’m gonna go and finish my…my…”

Before Tails could leave his feline friend to his business, He caught a glimpse at one of his arms. There, wrapped around his wrist was the “Holo-Morph 800”; still remaining in its shut down state. “Hey! That’s my latest inventions!” The fox shouted as he pointed at the device. Big held up his arm to his face and smiled as he held it out to Tails. “Oh, is this yours? Gee, it sure is pretty looking, huh?” Tails quickly flew over to Big, and carefully removed it from his wrist. “Yeah, yeah sure it is.” He quickly examined it all over to make sure nothing was out of place. “Hmm. Everything seems fine… it’s just in an emergency shut down mode.” He then turned towards Big, now even more confused. “Big, this gadget is very important. I had this specifically made for someone!” “Ooooh so it’s not yours?” “In a way yes.” Continued Tails “How did you even get a hold of this?! The only other person who knew about it was Rouge, but that was because she was going… to… wear… it.” With both those sentences uttered out loud, added with the sight of Big wearing Rouge’s signature outfit, Tails quickly pieced the big, strange puzzle together as he stared at the large purple cat in shock and surprise.

“Um… Tails? Are you feeling okay? You look like you saw a very spooky ghost~.” His “friend’s” concerned words snapped Tails back to reality. Not knowing how to exactly explain this to someone like Big, Tails decided to play along… “Uh, yeah I’m fine. Just… remembered something very important. So important that I actually need YOUR help Big!” Big smiled upon hearing this. “You mean it? You want ME to help you with your inventions? Golly Tails, that’s so kind of you!” Tails chuckled a bit as he gave his pal a pat on the back. “Yeah well, that’s just how I am. Now let’s head over to the workbench. You can help gather supplies while I start planning out my next invention.” “Okie Dokie! Huh huh!” With a happy and hearty chuckle, Big followed Tails down the aisles, heading back to the main work area. While the cat was blissfully following him, Tails was busy pondering to himself. “Ugh, I warned her… Without the proper supplies, it’s gonna take days to fix her up… sigh… Oh well. You wanted to be undetected by others… can’t get any better than that.” Tails quipped to himself as Big looked back down at him.

“Um, Tails?”

“What is it, “big guy”?”

“If it helps you out more, do you mind if I can invite Froggy over? He’s a really good helper~.”

Tails just chuckled as he gave the transformed bat a smile and a nod. “Sure Big… Sure you can. We aren’t in a hurry anyways. Maybe you can take me out fishing later today too.” “Oh boy! I can’t wait for the three of us to go fishing. I even got me a new rod and everything. I can probably even show you my favoritest fishing spots and…”

Tails just rolled his eyes, smiling as he let him continue to talk his happy little heart out. Sure, he was fully aware of who he really used to be. But it wasn’t like “she” was going to remember anything after this. Until then, he was ready to have a bit of a fun “guys day out”. Although now that he thought about it, he would have to contact Sonic and especially Shadow soon after.
He could only imagine just how well those two would handle hearing the “Big” news…

The End.
