Sunbeams

In a meeting far from here,
I heard a worker say,
The Lord has something
To give us each and every day.

Today he gave me sunbeams
Across my tiled floor,
To remind me of his power
Extending from shore to shore.

Smiles, hugs and sweet concerns
He’s sent on many a day.
Hope comes from birds
That sing and stay to play.

The Lord speaks every day.
If we diligently listen
He’ll teach us his way.
