you tell me what this is about

Race of colors

Lets keep it real

Race is a big deal

Defines a color by our skin

The face of our kin

Is a condition we live in

They say it is the land of the free

A melting pot of mixed generations you see!

Still

We define ourselves by the color of our skin

Is this where we truly want to begin

Not rightious but more of a sin

White/Black What is that?

Don't know about you and your own

But I am light brown with an olive tone

Race has nothing to do with the color of skin

Or ancestrial heritage, that is just where we begin

Born and proud we stand

Equaility we demand!

Citizenship we proclaim

otherwise a total shame

My Race!

I AM!

WE ARE !

AMERICANS!
