Story notes for Phineas Fortescue's Big Fat Harem |
This is the companion document for "Phineas Fortescue's Big Fat Harem"  , organized to familiarize yourself with characters, locations and concepts in the interactive. Owing to how changes to story and setting can occur with the interactive format, this document is presented as a reference, not doctrine, as you may encounter (or plan to write) these characters after significant changes. The first two sections overview the Citadel setting and the titular character, Phineas Fortescue. Characters are organized alphabetically (and by school dorm, when applicable) in the four other sections: Students, Citadel Faculty, Family & Extensions, MiscellaneousThis document experiences semi-frequent updates, check back for new developments. Message me if a character you authored needs an updated bio or if I have missed them. The premier institution for magical education in the world, the Citadel (as it is often abbreviated) is secluded away from the rest of the world. Founded as a tiny city-state, the location of magical research is an immense fortress built on old wards with many secrets within the multiple buildings and grounds of the school. Just outside the walls are the main gate and dedicated locomotive for the school, as students traditionally arrive by rail. The most noticeable locations are the student dorms, a collection of students by lifestyle, outlook, personality and views on magic, where young witches, wizards and warlocks live during their time at the Citadel. Although pre-selected into their dormitories for their first four years, dormitory rotation is available for upperclassmen. Students enroll in 8 years of classes typically starting in their 10th or 11th year of age. However, exceptional minds often become apprentices to preeminent magical figures working at the Citadel, selected from the upperclassmen, to continue their education further at the Citadel in graduate work. Notable places on campus include Citadel Lake, also known as Challenge Lake, the Great Hall where meals are held, and various temples for the magic practicers of divine faiths. Each of the Dormitories are outlined below. Quanata Loft (QL) A cozy, eclectic attic loft filled with the eccentric students of the Citadel. The wittiest, cleverest, and most imaginative occupy the heavens pointed lofts. Brainy geeks and mad dreamers alike fill the forum with every odd thought, bright idea, out-there theories and crazy-enough-to-work plans. Meldelvian Dungeon (MD) The gothic lower depths of the Citadel, complete with brooding warlocks, hard nosed punks and possible villainous students for every dark anti-hero in the pack. The strange and scary students reside in the dungeon's macabre atmosphere. Those with unconventional interests, questionable morals and gloomy dispositions call this place home. Wrocklehurst Cellar (WC) The rustic, half subterranean ancillary building in the Citadel where everyone strives for improvement. There's the reputation that the Cellar hosts the problem students, a rather unfair stereotype as each does their best. Whether their issue is academic, functional, or because of esoteric parentage, each member of the Cellar can find a place to live. Vinixivue Tower (VT) An imposing, grandiose tower with bold design. The best of the Citadel are said to come from this tower, the bold brash and brave alongside the elite, cool and cocky. Many are rising stars in the magical world or come from rich families. For all their image the dormitory also has a devil may care attitude, typical jocks and preps, predisposed to believing their own excellence and home to many a crazy party. Kunok Quarters (KQ) Simple, practical dorms with rather down to earth magicians compared to the likes of the Citadel. Welcoming and loyal to a fault, those of the Quarters tend to a collectivist identity with few standouts. For all of their neighborly attitudes they can be a bad group to cross if you slight one of their fellows. Phineas is a 17-year-old wizard entering his penultimate year of education at the Citadel. Experiencing the middle child syndrome of a populated magical family with many accomplishments and accolades, Phineas is a dark haired, somewhat nondescript geek with scholarly interests in magical lore and theory but typically underwhelming in practical application. However, life for him is about to change as he is thrust into romantic options attuned to his desires. See, Phineas has been quiet about his attraction to overweight females. Magic being magic, as a fat admirer and expansion enthusiast, Phineas appears destined to meet the potential loves of his life as they gain weight. Young witches, wizards and warlocks going to the Citadel for their magical education. Their dormitories are listed in each bio to give an idea of whom might be grouped with each other. A majority of Phineas' weighty loves are likely to be found here, although other students may also be listed. Betteridge, Cassandra Original Author: LGV  Dorm: QL Age: 17 A blonde, studious and clever witch from the noble Betteridge family. Unlike many blue bloods, the Betteridge family looks down on vanity magic and keeping good looks, as they consider wit, knowledge and accomplishment to be the most defining aspects of a great witch. Hence Cassandra follows a filial trend towards a chubby, plump physique, as she mostly gains weight around her middle. Cassandra wears glasses and often has her hair kept in a snarled mess from keeping her wand, inked quills, and other such tools and trinkets in her locks. Brightbell, Charity Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: MD Age: 17 One of the few tieflings at the Citadel, Charity is a humanoid with demonic lineage. For her, she has lavender skin, dark violet horns, solid red eyes, a thin forked tail and black hair she often ties back. In contrast to her infernal heritage and some innate fiendish magic, Charity is surprisingly nice and generous as her 'virtuous' name suggests, albeit in her way of trading favors and gifts of equivalent exchange, as she explains she's only 2% demon. Charity is noticeably chubby and tends to gain weight in her belly, breasts and butt. She's quite thankful of Phineas' help in Magical Theory last year and is receptive of his attraction. She also has the potential of assisting him with his patronage to the co-Sloth & Gluttony demoness Hesbeth, or as Charity refers to her, (several Greats-) "Grandma Beth" as the ancestor of her tiefling line. Celene, Regina Original Author: LGV Dorm: MD Age: 17 A short witch with a tomboyish body and crass, cutthroat personality. Abrasive and undermining, many feel she's long overdo for some kind of comeuppance, such as by getting fat. Often blames others for her own mistakes or to deflect from deliberate sabotage on her behalf. Crestwell, Nicholas Dorm: WC Age: 18 An upperclassman resident advisor (RA) for Wrocklehurst Cellar, he has a kindly, understanding disposition for his younger charges. He gives Phineas some advice for his new duties as a Kunok Quarters RA or otherwise introduces him to Wrocklehurst Cellar if Phineas is rotated to that dormitory. He's of average height with reddish-brown hair and freckles. Francois, Margot Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: VT Age: 18 A blonde, rubenesque and thunderous thighed beauty from an lineage that dates back to the court wizard of Charlemagne. A coiffed, plush student among the school's elite, Margot has an embittered rivalry with Azul de le Mar, her former roommate, and family, given Azul's sister Cerulea upset her plans to marry the Duke of Milan. With political marriages common as students reach age at the Citadel, Margot would not loose clout for marrying a Fortescue, and knows just how to endear herself to Phineas' attractions when faced with rivals. Forsyth, Farah Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: VT Age: 17 The older of the Forsyth twins by an hour, Farah hails from a family that previously had a lifelong feud with the Fortescues until plans for a political marriage. Carrying herself with the grace and prestige of a noblewoman, she’s known as the “Ice Queen of Vinixivue Tower” but is there more to her personality? Farah has a slender, willowy build with long brown hair, violet eyes and full lips, shared with her sister Faye. A conventional beauty to most but too thin for Phineas' tastes if betrothed. Forsyth, Faye Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: WC (formerly VT) Age: 17 The younger of the Forsyth twins by an hour, Faye hails from a family that previously had a lifelong feud with the Fortescue's until plans for a political marriage. Faye started her education at the Citadel as a bright star until her fall from grace and 'exile' to Wrocklehurst Cellar after a minor scandal. Although considered by some to be the defective twin, Faye is far more outgoing and friendly than her twin. Faye has a slender, willowy build with long brown hair and violet eyes, shared with her sister Farah, but tends to a fluffier physique being not concerned with dieting. A plus in Phineas' eyes if betrothed. To stand out from her sister more, Faye often cuts her hair short and dyes it other colors, such as green. O'Hannigan, Calliope Dorm: KQ Age: 16 A stunning, fresh faced bard with a flair for the theatrics, who has earned herself an early apprenticeship for her mastery of weaving her magic through music. Calliope loves a good story, a song, and a party (in any order). Vicarious and freewheeling, Calliope has bronzed skin, silky blonde hair and gleaming white teeth, but her most noticeable feature is, err, her butt! A juicy, peach-shaped rear she often covers with colored tights, although her partying might sport her some weight in her belly and upper half besides her calorie soaking butt. Her most notable encounter with Phineas is in the aftermath of welcoming feast shenanigans also involving her roommates Maeve Holderkeln, Siv Tresfleur and Gird Ningel. Holderkeln, Maeve Dorm: KQ Age: 17 A worshiper of the great goddess of the harvest, cleric in training Maeve is a hearty and massive girl fond of food and drink, befitting her deity. Maeve has sandy brown hair, blue eyes, and a mole just off her chin. Heftily built, she's an apple-shaped girl who mostly gains in her gut. Although indulgent on food, she takes the other aspects of serving a magical deity seriously and often works at the Citadel's temples. Her most notable encounter with Phineas is in the aftermath of welcoming feast shenanigans also involving her roommates Siv Tresfleur, Calliope O'Hannigan, and Gird Ningel. Longloch, Harmony Dorm: WC Age: 16 A half-breed witch descended from a clan of merpeople, mainly merrow in heritage. Harmony is human-looking with amphibious features including webbed fingers and toes, green-grey skin tone, torso gills and translucent 'eyelids' that protect her eyes in the water. She has a lanky swimmer's physique with powerful thighs and spends most of her time active and is something of an underperforming student, as underwater denizens don't share the same sentiments for raising students land-dwelling wizards have. However, she has something of a "group-think" naivety making her highly suggestible leading to recent bloating and binging tendencies. Lovejoy, Bella Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: QL Age: 18 A bookish, popular witch known for her generosity and intelligence. Rather friendly and gregarious, Bella is known for mentoring other students by assisting them with their coursework. Because of her kind attitude, most often repay her with treats and confections, as she has a noted sweet tooth. Such snacks have soften her blue-eyed, blonde-haired physique, as she's noticeably chubby and wide hipped. Phineas became infatuated with her a few years ago when she helped him through Intermediary Elementalism and she ate the entire pie he got for her in one sitting. The may even end up as co-apprentices. Lune, Misty Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: QL Age: 17 A flirtatious, vicarious witch with albinism and one of the most impressive knockers on campus. Misty is in line to become an apprentice during Phineas’ own apprenticeship. Being friendly acquaintances in the past, Misty was a notorious tease during her developmental years with Phineas, although popular due to her mysterious blanched looks and impressive chest. When paired with Phineas for their master, Janus Dao, in exploring the great dualities of magic she's coy on reconnecting but unfortunately has allergies to the two-headed hellhound they are to raise as their co-familiar. MacDowell, Thorne Dorm: WC Age: 15 Standing at 9 feet, 10 inches and still growing, Thorne is a stoic and kindly although imposing girl owing to her half-giant heritage. Saying she's twice the height of an average school girl and four times as wide wouldn't be hyperbole in her case. She tends to be quiet and hasn't formed many friendships outside of her dorm, although she has an easy time with physical labor and shrugging off misaimed spellfire owing to her giant parentage. Quite troubling, she's already a mammoth of a girl in size before she would get overweight for her frame, which requires a titanic amount of calories. de le Mar, Azul Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: KQ (formerly VT) Age: 17 An exotic looking witch with dusky skin and blue hair from a Medditerrean lineage. One of the school’s social elite who tired of the lifestyle, she is open minded about relationships given her sister’s secret girlfriend with an arranged marriage to a Duke, as she suggested sharing Phineas between her and Ruby Summers. Azul has a large, shapely rear, as the curved backsides of the de le Mar women have been rumored to enchant lovers. Azul tends to gain weight both above and below in an hourglass body-type. Mignon, Teresa Original Author: Keroro04 Dorm: MD Age: 16 The daughter of a family noted for important potion and spellwork discoveries, the dark haired Teresa is something of a slacker, academically and physically, in contrast to the lore wrought by her parents. She prefers time spent with friends and finding shortcuts in coursework. Hers is a thin figure, although her large appetite (particularly for chocolate and sweets) suggests her metabolism might give out sooner or later. Montague, Olivia Dorm: MD Age: 17 The daughter of a minor noble who finds home in the depths of Meldelvian Dungeon as she considers those in Vinixivue Tower to be vapid airheads. The blonde-brown Olivia dresses poshly and is quite intelligent, although this is the thin veneer over a calculated, manipulate cunning. Having thrice the smarts compared to most, those that speak of her "brains over beauty" use it as an odd misnomer for her physique. Although conventionally attractive, she has a widening ass once joked to house her 'ancillary brains.' Morgana, Chelsea Dorm: VT Age: 16 The bubbly, most popular girl at school with the nickname of "Chesty" as her sweater puppies are the largest pair of breasts across the student body! Chelsea has hazel eyes and short, dull platinum blonde hair. She knows more beauty glamours than she does her academic studies, being a chronically underperforming student who prefers the company of friends. Proud of the attention she gets from her breasts, the sheer incredulous size on her otherwise average frame makes it easy for others to overlook she's been getting kinda chubby lately. Ningel, Gird Dorm: KQ Age: 18 A dark haired summoner specializing in magic pertaining to spatial relations and the planes beyond the material world. Gird tends to play the big sister and voice of reason to her roommates, friends and collaborators, although she does manifest an unusual playful side. With long black hair, skinny frame and smokey, sultry looks, Gird doesn't appear that outstanding on the tiers of Citadel beauties save for her newfound burgeoning potbelly. With her sudden interest in competitive eating and drinking, such contests will likely grow her potbelly bigger. Her most notable encounter with Phineas is in the aftermath of welcome feast shenanigans with her roommates Maeve Holderkeln, Siv Tresfleur, and Calliope O'Hannigan. Perks-Plaza, Lucinda Dorm: WC Age: 16 A brown skinned, black haired excitable witch, Lucinda is perky, bubbly, and somewhat obnoxious with her tendency to talk endlessly as she has no real filter. She's shorter than average and has a large, boulder-shaped belly hanging off her front in a comical fashion. Oh, and she doesn't eat regular food. Her sunny disposition is in stark contrast of a childhood spent under horrid magical experiments leading to her current size and dietary needs, as she can't consume what most people consider food. Rather, she eats 'inedible' things like wood, leather, cement mix, plastic and such material. The experiments also made her unwieldily both when casting magic and having magic affect her. Pottinger, Odyssey Dorm: KQ Age: 17 An overweight, very insecure witch with several hair based problems and an overactive imagination that tends to infect her magic. After a chance encounter with Phineas when they were younger she has been the subject of one of his most unrequited crushes as she struggles with her own weighty woes. She’s also good in nearly every practical subject he’s bad at (such as herbology and creatures) in contrast to the expectations around school that her quirky, color-changing hair and background from a non-magical lineage should make her a fully fledged sorcerer. She waffles on her own feelings towards Phineas, unsure that she could ever be seen as beautiful with her fat. Rundström, Freya Dorm: KQ Age: 18 A large, blonde girl with mixed Scandinavian features and ancestry. She's a pleasant, non-ostenasious student who does decently in classes and friendly enough for a loaner. Her odd paleness with a hint of grey/brown is a hint that's she's not all she appears to be. Secretly, although she appears human she's actually a selkie, a woman of the sea able to return to her true sea lion form whenever she dons her pelt or second skin. When doffed, she appears otherwise human and land living selkies are commonly mistaken for such. However, she keeps a lot of the seal blubber in her humanoid form, having a large belly and breasts with chunky legs. Skyblossom, Tania Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: VT Age: 36 (roughly 17-18 in human years) Young (for an elf) wood elf royalty taken with human culture after the wars with the dark elves. With eyes colored like the afternoon sky, cherry-blossom pink hair, and outsized pointed ears of course, Tania is the first wood elf to attend The Citadel in centuries. She's curious and vivacious, friendly to many. And with just a few years of schooling at the top magical academy, a lot more voluptuous than the typical wood elf build. She's developed quite the craving for human foods, surprisingly the junk foods created by non-magical cultures. This leaves her with a large chest & round hips in an exaggerated hourglass build. And growing. Sosanna, Lysandra Original Author: LGV Dorm: KQ Age: 17 A brown skinned foreigner from a distant land, Lsyandra is one of the brightest, kindest, and most genuine girls of her year. Without a violent bone in her curvy, hourglass body, some try to take advantage of her unfamiliarity with local customs but the majority find her to be an instant friend and confidant. Storm, Gladia Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: QL Age: 18 Likely the most intelligent witch of her year, Gladia is an ambitious and achievement minded witch that strives for top marks in all of her subjects. Her first name is ironic considering her abrasive competitiveness towards getting the top grade, very fitting her surname for her intensity. As such she doesn't have as many friends, making her somewhat jealous of her peers with both academic and social acclaim, such as Bella Lovejoy. Gladia is selected for apprenticeship during the same time as Phineas. Her dark hair, grey eyes and lithe figure, combined with her intensity, makes her unpalatable for some, but just how long does she keep that lithe figure? Summers, Ruby Original Author: WTLamp Dorm: KQ Age: 17 A stout, rudy skinned outspoken witch from a family of farmers at the Citadel on scholarship. She has a earthy work ethic and is the unlikely best friend of Azul de le Mar, with the two both pining for Phineas’ affections. Ruby has red hair as her name would suggest, a freckled farmer's complexion and usually dresses in outdoorsy, practical garb. Ruby tends to gain weight around her waist and bottom half. Torenza, Matilda Dorm: MD Age: 18 A Latina punk who was a hard drinker even before she came of age. Self-proclaimed "deliciously malicious" she's been a problem student for smuggling booze, her terrorizing pranks and destructive partying. She has a curvy physique with some bottom heavy genes and the start of a beer gut. Tresfleur, May Original Author: Keroro04 Dorm: QL Age: 18 An auburn haired, somewhat stocky druidess attuned to the magic of the natural world. May is very intelligent with high marks and an almost systematic method of testing and improving nature magic. Fitting the quirky Quanata Loft, she tends to be less popular than her younger sister, Siv Tresfleur, given her focus towards intellectual pursuits. She has a sizable chest and tends to gain weight in her upper body, compared to her sister's large thighs. Tresfleur, Siv Dorm: KQ Age: 17 An auburn haired, freckled, green eyed druidess attuned to the magic of the natural world, making her one of the more outdoorsy types at the Citadel. Siv is of average height and build save for her luscious, thick thighs as most of her weight settles on her hips and legs. Although used to some tenets of civilization that most druids ignore (especially if they eschew education at the Citadel) Siv is a romantic at heart and would love to get cuddly with a paramour. Younger sister to May Tresfleur. Her most notable encounter with Phineas is in the aftermath of welcome feast shenanigans with her roommates Maeve Holderkeln, Calliope O'Hannigan and Gird Ningel. Zabala, Lillith Dorm: MD Age: 17 Having gothic, vintage fashion sense to accentuate her unusual lack of pigment, the albino aristocrat Lillith has a friendly demeanor and chatty enthusiasm tempered by her unabashed love of dark magicks and macabre topics. The stuff that usually creeps out the more tempered witch or wizard. Easy living has left her doughy with rubenesque curves, giving Lillith the nickname of "Meldelvian Dungeon's goth marshmallow." ??, Mei Original Author: Keroro04 Dorm: KQ (formerly WC) Age: 17 At five inches tall, Mei is easily the smallest student the Citadel has ever taught. Inchlings are a rare breed of humanoid only a few inches high, much as their race suggests. Meek due to easily being overlooked, Mei still tries to live life as a normal Citadel student owing to her transfer to Kunok Quarters some years ago. She has a pert, rounded rear but at her size that hardly appears to be substantial weight...or is it? The teachers and staff of the Citadel. Quite often characters in the background, although some of the women professors accepting of the ideas of a teacher-student romance might become a potential love interest. Dao, Janus Original Author: WTLamp Age: ?? An aged, respected wizard with oriental features and a long mustache, obsessed with duality and the great mysteries of magic, as he trains pairs of apprentices together. Known for a flashy, dichotic fashion sense. Langtree, Delilah Original Author: Keroro04 Age: 30s A harsh potions mistress known for giving her students only one chance at each of their assignments. Acclaimed for her research into alchemy, Delilah is known to test potions on herself during the off days of her schedule, sometimes sporting strange side effects of these potions. Her more permanent additions from this testing include white, feathery wings from her back and scales down her shoulders and arms, giving her the appearance of an angelic being. The family members and other relations of either Phineas, a student, or another resident of the Citadel who are important but unlikely to have a frequent presence at the school setting. Fortescue, Nicephorus Original Author: WTLamp Age: ?? Phineas' father and current patriarch of the main branch of House Fortescue. He's barely acknowledged his middle child and tends to not understand Phineas, although he expects his son to continue the family traditional of magical acclaim (rather than notoriety). He is likely to arrange a political marriage for Phineas to ensure House Fortescue's strong ties in the magical world, now that Phineas has become of age. de Panettone, Cerulea (nee de le Mar) Original Author: WTLamp Age: 20s The older sister of Azul de le Mar, Cerulea married Antonio Panettone, the Duke of Milan, shortly after they both graduated when he inherited his title young. Ceruela shares the de le Mar's beliefs on open, polyaromanoic relationships uncommon with other family outlooks. Although pregnant with her child with the Duke she has a girlfriend, secretly approved by her husband. Ceruela looks much like her younger sister, given the de le Mar phenotype of curvaceous, blue-eyed and blue-haired black women, only taller and obviously with child as she coaches Azul on her own pursuit of shared romance with Ruby Summers and Phineas. More unusual characters, such as magical beings, or other entities that don't fit in one of the other categories. Hesbeth Age: Inscrutable A demon from the lower depths seeking Phineas as the 'student' to her 'teacher' in an incredibly atypical form of demonic patronage. Revealing to Phineas that the demonic realms have become more structured and bureaucratic of late, compared to the usual infernal depictions, she wants Phineas' help to further sins at the Citadel she views as hubristic and hedonistic. Hesbeth or rather 'Beth' as she's fond of nicknames, promises to teach 'Phin' as he champions the Sins of Sloth and Gluttony, although maybe she seeks to offload the work of temptation on him owing to her original department, the former, before a mixup of carnal sins landing her in the latter department. Still, her form is befitting for both sins, preying on her knowledge of Phin's desires, as she is a hefty pear-shaped demon woman covered head to toe with scratchy black fur, with razor sharp teeth, golden glowing eyes and horns so large they look more like antlers. She's also the several generations back origin of tiefling student Charity Brightbell's fiendish heritage, as Charity knows of her and affectionally refers to Hesbeth as 'Grandma Beth'. |
