Lost Love Found

Anthony and Deborah met a very long time ago
They were separated by tragedy but nobody would ever know
They yearned and suffered in silence for endless misty years
Settling for other lovers just left them both in tears

Through all of life’s trials they never gave up hope
Visions of a future together helped them both to cope
Then one cool day at an unlikely time and place
They bumped into each other and stood there face to face

Recognition immediately dawned on both and they just couldn’t believe
After all these years apart they would finally be getting their reprieve
Every day of their painful past very quickly faded away
They had found each other once again in the present day

They pledged to love each other in the beautiful Scottish hills
She in a lavender scented dress that gave Anthony such a thrill
Both had tears that day as their bond was set in stone
Rings of love knowingly exchanged meant they would never be alone

Anthony and Deborah are together now for all eternity
In this lifetime not a more devoted couple will I ever see
