Why won't the StoryMaster invite me to his party? I just can't figure it out!
"Hey! You! Why are you smushing your face against my window? You're scaring all my guests!"

"Sorry about that. I can have one of my minions wash it for you, if you like."

"Wait a minute...it's you! I told you not to come back here again!"

"I just wanted to see what kind of cake you're having this year. Is it German Chocolate? It sort of looks like some kind of chocolate, but I can't see well past this smudge. You really should clean your windows more often."

"It was clean until--"

"Do you mind moving over a smidge? It looks like someone added another present to the pile. From the size of it I would say it's another gift card. Sure is a tall stack of envelopes you got going on there. Might topple pretty soon. You know, I can send one of my minions inside to stabilize it, if you want."

"I'm sure it will be fine. Now please leave. You're not invited to this event. And don't pucker those lips at me. I've got kids. I'm immune to that trick."

"C'mon, The StoryMaster , let me in and my minions and I can perform all sorts of tricks! We'll be your entertainers!"

"I learned my lesson last year, Genipher , when your minions wrecked my party. They ate all the cake --"

"They left a piece for the birthday boy, remember?"

"Ripped open all the presents and scattered them over the floor --"

"Aren't they helpful little scamps?"

"And made a mural of sticky hand prints with melted ice cream, all over my walls!"

"Such a lovely gift they designed for you, don't you think?"

"No! Which is why you weren't invited to the party this year. I'm not going to risk another fiasco with those rascals."

"What if I leave them at home? Then can I come in?"

"They're hiding in the bushes behind you."

"What? No."

"I can see them bouncing around in my flower bed. Wait a minute...do you have more of them than the last time you crashed my party?"

"Only one more. But he doesn't eat much, yet..."

"Absolutely not! No. You've got to go. Now!"

"Look at their sad little faces, StoryMaster. They're so unhappy that you refused to invite us, they've only pulled out half your flowers and they've stopped filling your fountain with dirt. How could you be so heartless?"

"Well, I guess I could change my mind if you promise--"

"Oh, how sweet of you, StoryMaster! Now if you'll just crack open this window so we can crawl through, we can get this party started!"

Happy Birthday!
