Red velvet down the hallway reminds me of blood
A creak in the floorboards sends a chill down my spine
Down the railing a staircase winds
The ghost is absent but I'm still spooked

Walls bleached in blood I find
Draining until the the spirit feels divine
Until I speak the words they long to hear
The ancient curse cut down with a spear
