An A-Z of scares!

A tale like this, will give you a fright,
Be careful when alone in the dead of night,
Creatures of the dark will come to call,
Demons, witches, werewolves and all.

Eyes where horrible nightmares are shown,
Fangs made to rip through flesh and bone,
Gore and violence wait all around you,
Hide with your friends, or soon you'll be stew.

Inside or out, there's no place to get away,
Just wave goodbye to the light of day,
Killers from movies will come alive,
Living to murder is how they survive.

Mouths flashing rows on rows of razor like teeth,
No-one survived to say what really lies beneath,
One must not forget the long, deadly nails,
Pirates will say; "Dead men tell no tales!"

Quiet before the storm, children scatter,
Run if you want, it won't matter,
So you're scared? They've done their job right,
Those terrible things that go bump in the night.

Under your cover, think you won't be found,
Very quiet, don't make a single sound,
Wish and hope all you like, or better yet admit,
X-ray eyes can find you, and you won't make it.

Yearly the monsters make an entire town scream,
Zombies will join the party next year, on Halloween.
