Since I met you, my life has changed.
I am happier and more fulfilled.
Others have seen this change...
And so, not only do you bring your warmth to me,
But, to my friends and family.
All around me feel your energy,
And so, you have changed their lives too.

Since I met you, the sun shines brighter,
The birds sing louder,
The days seem easier.
I feel lighter...
And my feet that once dragged,
Now rise and fall with an anticipation,
That has not been there in years.

Since I met you, I wake with a smile.
No thoughts of negativity,
Of impending doom or sadness.
Only excitement at what the day might bring.

I have no illusions about us.
It would be selfish to want you all for me.
