Love, as we get older, seems to be more difficult to find. Are the risks worth the reward?
It seems to me,
As I look around.
There's so many people,
Who cannot be found.

“But they're everywhere,” you say,
I admit, that is true.
But the ones I know,
Are just see through.

Unavailable, they are...
Emotionally, physically or mentally.
No matter how hard I try,
Or even, how gently.

When I show her my love,
She runs for the hills.
Leaving me wondering,
And without any thrills.

Is that all there is?
From this world to choose.
So many can see me,
Yet none willing to lose.

Because love is life's gamble,
So lay your heart down.
And play with the chance,
That love may be found.
