Sage, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon
Changing leaves, falling leaves, and crisp errors
September sings of autumn joys
While animals hunker in pairs

Spiciness permeates the air
Scents that appear one time per year
October sings of autumn joys
For kids as Halloween draws near

Cinnamon apples, pumpkin pie
Foods that appear one time per year
November sings of autumn joys
For all as Thanksgiving draws near
