Come Unto Christ

There is a shocking amount of people on Earth that see God as this all powerful being that does nothing but punish people for their mistakes.

Yes, He may be all powerful, but not once has he ever wanted to punish us, His children. If He doesn't, the people forget Him altogether.

He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to die for us, that we can get a chance to repent of our sins. The people who killed Him were people who had forgotten their true God, and had fallen into wickedness. Here is another example.

There once were a people, who saw Jesus Christ after he was crucified, and Christ spoke to them and ministered them on a daily bases, for quite some time. For a very long time they walked in faith, even long after Jesus had departed from them.

But they slowly forgot their God, until they chose to deliberately disobey Him. They killed the true prophets that came, and paid and worshipped the false prophets that told them about the Lord, warning them about what would happen if they continued in this dark path they were leading.

They just kept getting more wicked, and were committing whoredoms, idolatry, wars and much more. Until one day, their worst enemies, who were equally wicked, came upon them, and the two native American groups destroyed each other. The victors, whom are now known as American Indians, were scattered all over North and South America.

Wickedness never was happiness.

They so called 'joy' you get from doing bad things that seem fun, is nothing compared to the true joy you get from doing good. But never fear, there is always time to repent. You can ask God to forgive you, and then do everything you can to try stop yourself from doing evil.

You don't have to be religious to see that doing good makes you feel better for much longer than doing wicked. Just try be the best person you can, and you'll find that life will get better. Just try it.
