A friend, an argument, and a loss. I don't mean to give it away. How else to phrase it?
The day is growing cold
Everyone is getting settled
As the daylight fades

It is hard to imagine
What the next day will bring
Whether it will be good or bad

As you begin to think
Your thoughts make you wonder
Stepping outside the air is brisk

Yet nothing seems to matter
As you start walking past
Past your best friend's house

It feels as if you are warm
As your thoughts keep wandering
As your tears fall

The night becomes even colder
No one is out
The moon shines brightly

Looking up thinking and hoping
Whatever the next day brings
That this friend may talk to you

Each day is new
Each time gets harder
As you keep walking past
