A reason to spring for a single next year.
Sunday Morning.
I sit preparing for
my marathon study day.
My roommate sits on her
bed. My back to her.

Sunday Morning.
Gospel pours from her
phone speaker.
A preacher from her
hometown church.

Sunday Morning.
My heart begins to
lift, as the man speaks
of accepting
the L...G...B...T s

Sunday Morning.
My blood runs cold.
My heart falls
as he reminds the congregation
not to confuse

Accepting with Condoning.
Hypocrisy burns me.
