In which Jay witnesses the aftermath of the Havasta Incident hiding from the doom!
While Jay escaped the Havasta Incident relatively unharmed hundreds lost their lives in the crisis, and thousands more were killed due to the results .   Ancient horrors thought long dead awoke in the artifact world of Tollona , rifts between worlds began to manifest across the stars, the great fleet of the Asorial nation shattered into a group of hapless plants, and sleeping evils once again waking up.  In the chaos, Jay Hariah had fled to the wild world of Teranzair where he worked as an explorer recovering artifacts from the worlds sliver age from various ruins and selling them to collectors, a job not too dissimilar to what he did in his youth long before his journey began. It was good work for him and he was able to easily evade the few council agents that dwelled on the world

He remained there for over a month before dark creatures began emerging from the depths of the world and began attacking travelers and trade caravans. He would soon learn the dark origin of these creatures, spawn of not one but two of the Echoes of Aldare, ancient Eldritch Titnes long imprisoned by the world of Teranzair itself after a failed attempt to feed on its wild magics. Now the Havasta Incident has loosened their bonds   and stirred them from their millina long slumber, and they awoke hungry as ever. Now their spawn roamed the land feeding and attempting to find a way to free the primes from beneath the earth. Many heroes would gather in an attempt to stop them, even planeswalker groups such as the Champions of Magic , But Jay himself would not get involved having only recently barley survived one Echo of Aldare and these two were far more deadly than Yaddie was, at least far more willing to kill their victims. And so instead of facing these horrors Jay teleported away to the cold world of Inof, a deed Jay would live to regret.

He entered the ice world hiding out in a small town of Celestis , upon the foothills of a large mountain range. It was a quite town, a quiet place with a solum demeanor to it. few years back Celestis had been a happier place, with one of their own proving herself to be a powerful sorceress she would have brought this town great honor had she not been slain in her senior year at the Guild of Sorceres. It seemed like the town never got over this grief especially the town's mayor Gleb who was the sorceress's father. Jay could feel the sorrow of this place as soon as he entered feeling it like a wave of Pressure over his body. He worked in aiding the town both out of kindness and guilt in the his association with the girls killer. Through summer snow, and later wet meltwater floods, even defending it from a flock of maddened birds!

As the days past he would hear more and more of the crises caused by the Havasta incident scars upon the universe that would take decades to heal. Jay was relived to have suffered little himself despite his sorrow for those effected. He would hide out in cold Icemi wondering what he would do come winter when a group of council mage hunters arrived at the village. As it turns out during his battle against the insane swarm of birds , Agatin Wolubhawks driven mad by the disturbance of the laylines caused by the Havasta Incident, one of the locals recognised the magic he used to drive them off as blood magic and reported it to the council.

And so four mages of the council came down to the village and questioned the mayor , two male humans, a female elf, and a male Murgil all armed with wands and stern expressions.

"Ah Master Gleb Kaur I presume, . As Mayor of this town I must inform you that you are harboring a dangerous blood mage in your midst one hunted by our Council of magic." Spoke the one at the center who appeared to be the leader.

"What is the meaning of this ? who are you? I know of no blood mages around these  parts. And even If I did what has the council ever done for us. If It was not for your organization my daughter would likely still be living!" Spoke Gleb annoyed and angered at the presence of the strangers with their hoods and wands . He slowly put his hand around his sidearm just in case of trouble.

"Ah My apologies for your loss, though even if your daughter died in one of our institutions you can hardly blame us completely , or should I remind you that the women who killed your daughter also slew several associates of the council before she was arrested by the council ." Spoke the leader in a manner of fact way. "Anyway it is proper that we introduce ourselves we are Hunters of Amon, my name Mathew Stewert senior officer , and these are my colleagues , Belthlad Wasimir, Sigird Wilfmetal , and Zegarain Matopos , we were sent by our higher ups to hunt down one Jay Haraih , who is accused of blood magic, and the massacre  of the village of Korinith in the world of Onixana. "

"Hmf... we have many mages in this town, let's hope this one dosient slop by you like you let Margret , elude you all those years ago. What does he look like anyway?" Gleb spoke Grumbling .

"His his human snowy! You know tanish skinned brown haired people, he'd stick out like a sore thumb in this frozen hell hole."Interrupted   the second hunter a tall blonde haired fellow named Sigird Wilfmetal in a cruel and callous tone.

"Shsh Sigird must you insult every local we encounter. What have we said about being cordial with the locals, the council needs the support of the local governments, now more so than ever after what happened a few months back." Spoke Zegarain Matopos, the Murgil wizard, calmly "My apologies for my colleagues Harshness Lichslayer, he has always been a grumpy one."

"Shut it Zeg! At Least I don't need a weird squid thing in my belly to survive! My People were once so...." Yelled Sigird before he was silenced by his superior

" Sigird stop making a scene, it will look bad on us! Now I will let Belthald speak our reasonings and describe our quarry. She is the best at such things." Spoke an agitated Mathew Stewert.

"Yes He is tall slightly tanned skin and brown hair with blue green eyes. As a blood mage he is likely to have scars across his left arm, peruming reports of him being right handed are true. He is skilled in magic but supposably unbalanced . " Spoke the elven sorceress Belthald, thingkong on all she knew of Jay.

"Ah yes.. I know the guy follow me." Spoke Gleb as he started walking across the town . The Icemi mayor and the four mage hunters walked through the town to a large open area outside of the town. A thick wet summer Snow began to fall as they spotted Jay looking oddly prepared for their arrival.

Gleb attempted to draw his pistol on the head hunter but the mage simply disassembled it with a simple incantation allowing components to fall to the floor.
"Don't try any thing else" spoke Sigrd, a human from the pale north of Keyvaile "or we will be breaking bones next.

"Sig stop threatening the locals!' Spoke the female annoyed 'we have talked about this."
"Yes yes I know... people are less likely to aid us if we threaten them
.. jeesh... are all elves so needy. " Spat out Sigird as he prepared for the coming fight.

The hunters began casting stumig spells against Jay but jay was swift to avoid them running deeper across the frozen lake where he soon set off his trap.  The ice cracked and broke apart in the summer thaw separating  each of the hunters and leaving them disoriented . Jay used his gifts in teleportation to move safety across the now broken ice fighting the mages one by one.  He attacked Zegarain first striking him across the torso wounding his symbiote and forcing him flee to recover.  Than he went for the braggart Sigird attacking him with much fury after feeling his hatred . So much was Jay's Fury that the Ice around them broke apart drastically forcing Jay to teleport away as Sigird sank beneath the frozen lake never to be seen again.     His most difficult challenge was the elven sorceress Bethlad whos potent magic overpowered the wizard drop out Jay who barley endured her barrage of spells. In Desperation he stretched out his hands  and cast a spell he swore never to cast, one taught to him by the vary villain that brought this town so much sorrow . The Spell harmed her greatly as she crumbled to the ground her every nerve alight with pain.  Jay felt her pain and left her upon the ground to save his sanity.  And so he was alone against Mathew Stewert the two wizards facing against each other. "How did you beat my men! what are you?" The leader spoke

"I am but a hedge mage . one who knows a thing or two about using what you have ." Spoke Jay with a bit of snark

"We shall see." The Hunter of Amon spoke as he summoned arcane chains from his wand , wrapping around Jay's legs and pinning him to the ice . He than looked at Jay and sneered "Now I suggest you surrender heagemage ." .

He than began preparing a fireball to intimidate Jay rasing the flaming tip of his wand in the air. But Jay was unimpressed and using the time it takes a fireball to get big enough to be dangerous he was able to regain his footing and use the blade on his staff to slash at Stewert's wand braking it in two. The Fireball explodes in mid air stunning the hunter as his chains faded away allowing Jay to teleport away leaving Mathew Stewert trapped in the middle of the Frozen lake.

And so Jay escaped having defeated a quartet of hunters of Amon relativily unscaved . He would give his regards to Gleb Kaur and apologize for bringing inconvenience and conflict to his town. Gleb was surprised to see Jay winning against his opponents, a feat that reminded him of his own fight against the lich , Timer Sagdeev 16 years earlier and left him with many questions . Jay explained himself as best he could being quite truthful for once in his exile.
"Aye I see . You were right about it being a strange series of events, and it is not my business who the council does and doesn't want to arrest . Though I must ask you. Did you really Kill those villagers."

Jay Looked down and spoke solemnly. "To be truly honest ... I don't know.. I got drunk with someone and woke up later at the center of the burning village , everyone was dead and my staff was covered in blood. I hope I am not responsible but I fear to investigate it fully, for If I ever lear that I did this deed it would destroy me."

Gleb nodded in understanding as Jay left the village to continue on his adventure.
