my life at the center of the storm
My life is like a hurricane
I get sucked into the eye of the storm
The storm that builds inside of me
All my desires and dreams get thrown around
Thrown around like a rag doll in the spin cycle of your washer

There once was a time when there was a light in my eye
Now they're as dark as a winter's night
Everything around me is crumbling in my hands
No matter how gentle I am

The things that used to make me sad have no effect on me
It's as if I have no soul no life nothing
I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle
But for some reason I don't give up

I can't give up
I long for the light in my eyes and to feel again
To take down my battered desires and make them a reality
I won't give up I can't and I'll fight till the day that I leave this earth.
