When today is too much to bear
Please, Please
Take the rain away
Save it for another day
Today it's just too much

Hark!
Does someone know a way
To ease the burden of today
It's a heavy one; and such!

Enough!
Or I will start to fray
I need respite, Enough! I say
Will someone hear me call?

Please Gods, Please Clouds
See where I lay
With hands on head. Keep rain at bay
Please do not let it fall

For even just a tiny drop...

         Another one's too much
         Another one's too much
         Another one's too much
         Another one's too much

Please, Now
Take the rain away
Just save it for another day
Please do not let them fall
