The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance,
does not seek Him. All his thoughts are, “There is no God.”

In his foolish pride, he will show no kind of penitence.
Jesus’s death, a sacrifice for man’s sin, he thinks to be very odd.

If there is no God to save you, where would you be?
All the humdrum of life would be with no purpose.
In a time of chaos and turmoil, who would set you free?
Life would be out of control and full of curses.

Where would your help come from if not from the Lord?
If not God, Who created the heavens and the earth?
Without God, there is only evil, violence, and the sword.
Who orders the planets, the universe, or a mother giving birth?

Who limits the oceans on how far they can go?
Who sends rain and gives life to the crops in the sod?
Who is there to save you from all of your foes?
The fool hath said in his heart, “There is no God.”
