A sports poem about actual resolve lessened by fighting - a hockey poem.
A maniacal disruption,
Furthering the untimely furor.

Shortening the political fancy -
Lengthening the animus.

A streaking warrior wanting
Surreal shadows;
An ageless one exists
To preclude the vicious curtailment -

Educated, pernicious camps
Piling on dubious calamities -
Rectifying the shameless wrongs
Unabated.

And the beat drags on -
Rough displays for which authority
Must guarantee official warnings.

And the tough get even meaner
For the sake of the loins -
A devotion shimmering
With glowing calls;

As fighting mires
The grittiest claim -
A victory and championship
Of the most epic scale.
