Poems at night
At night, when all the Gods are long asleep, I dream of flying.
I close my eyes and spread my wings. I take the leap. The rope's untying.
My hand is stretched, I touch the stars, the Moon herself is smiling.
And for a moment, before dawn, I feel that I'm not dying.

But we both know, the Moon and I, that our time is running out.
The Sun is here, the light grows strong, the Gods are waking up.
"You must come now," her sorrow speaks. I'm mute, I'm dust and she fades out.
And yet, before she disappears she takes my hand. "Let's not fall out."
