Poem prompt Sitting on the beach on a nice summer day.
Spirals in the air and Toes in the Sand

Blue spirals of Earth touch the sky
behind my back
As my mind turns to slack
and my mouth is watering for pie
that was packed.

A morning walk
along the shore
to ridden my thoughts
of those things that want more.

I see the tiny shelled creatures
blowing their bubbles as they
filter and feed.
To be that carefree
is what I need.

I sit upon a smoothed coral rock
at the water's edge, the waves breaking at my feet.
I contemplate my past and my future.

Sit here forever to never worry
as the world continues to turn
and pan
for those things out of reach,
for my toes are in the sand.
