A brief poem. Not my forte, but it's a message to my abusers. They'll never see this.
Can you hear me?
I whisper soft;
I rage and roar.

Can you feel me?
I caress you;
I pull your hair.

Can you see me?
I lift things up;
I crash them down.

You live your life
And you don't know,
Don't understand.

I grow stronger.
You refuse t' see.
You refuse t' know.

Learn to listen.
Learn to see.
Learn to feel.

I beg you, listen!
One day, I'll die.
I'll cease to be.

No more a child.
No more obeying.
No mindlessness.

I control me.
You don't own me;
You never did.
