Poetry about a stranger who has become a friend and ended up being a stranger
It has become cliché for me to call you friend,
Cuz, we both know how we chose to pretend.
At the place full of strangers, we met as a stranger,
Chose you as a friend but the friendship was meager.

I was overwhelmed by the favors you gave,
Was emotional, irrational, weird, how naïve!
Help is beautiful that can be given to everyone,
Friend or stranger doesn’t matter who the one.

Did the things that have to be done for a friend,
and wow, left me hanging in that hell at the end.
Never knew you took me as a stranger all this while,
Oh, poor you, I now let you go with a smile.

Stranger to a friend, friend to a stranger, is how we are,
Ask me if I ever felt bad? No, if so, that would be bizarre.
Cuz, Just like the four chambers of the heart,
I have my own, who never let me fall apart!!!

Love,
Nine.
