A poem reflecting life and joy.
Thoughtlessly I stare out the window
Listening to the hail and birds
The sweet magnolia tree
Is their refuge in the storm

The afternoon brings a cold wind
And suddenly the desolate, lifeless gray of winter comes creeping closer
The joys of life and life itself are in a moment recognized as fleeting

My thoughts begin to shift so slightly and at the same time all at once, to all the things bound by time
Almost an objective moment which can only truly be thine

In the space that is eternal
You see that we are bound by time
For it is what you’ve created
And you are holy and Divine

All the mysteries and reasons why
May never be discovered until you return
Yet I love to search you out forever for I am yours and you are mine
