Why am I caring?
Feeling so grey, per usual days, I've just expected it to end up this way.
The blues have worn off and the yellows aren't enough, not even the reds are even too much.
It's all gone to dust and now it's all cloudy, so I'm not going to question it or it'll get rowdy.

They grab on my hair, they yank on my skin.
I want them to stop, the room starts to spin.
Why am I screaming? Shouldn't I stay quiet?
That's what you're telling me. I don't know what's right.

'Listen to me, stop saying that thing,
you don't know what you're saying, stop trying to think.'
The child IS trying, just open your eyes.
You need to just listen and try, just try.

The blues have come back, so where are the clouds?
The sun is back out and I'm smiling so loud.
The greys are all gone, but the blues are overwhelming.
I'm feeling so blue...

Why am I caring?
