and memories of yesteryear
In a wooded expanse, I wandered
during the time of fallin' leaves
heavy was the silence
in that mausoleum of trees.

I captured the scene in memory,
the sway of reeds in water rippling;
dreams of you when time was young
before winter came a'crippling.
